About the Founder

Dr. Mitali Bhattacharjee, Ph.D. is a Biomedical Scientist, Immunologist, Multi-Omics Researcher and Science Educator with over two decades of experience spanning biomedical research, molecular diagnostics, scientific education and translational healthcare innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, where she conducted advanced research under the mentorship of Prof. Akhilesh Pandey, a globally recognized leader in proteomics.
Her scientific career encompasses biomarker discovery using proteomics, transcriptomics, flow cytometry and next-generation sequencing, with a particular focus on translating laboratory discoveries into clinically meaningful diagnostic solutions. As a Principal Investigator under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Women Scientist Programme, she led research exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular complications in rheumatoid arthritis, integrating bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing with advanced flow cytometry.

Driven by a passion for innovation and scientific excellence, Dr. Bhattacharjee founded Aethelome to bridge the gap between cutting-edge biomedical research and accessible healthcare. Her vision is to transform scientific discoveries into practical diagnostic technologies, evidence-based natural health solutions and world-class scientific education that improve lives and strengthen healthcare systems.
